My training plan originally called for a set of Yasso 800s today, but my legs were still really sore from my Monday and Tuesday runs when I woke up, so I decided to swap that workout with my Thursday 7 mile recovery run. Hopefully my legs will feel a little fresher by tomorrow.
I got up, headed to the gym, and did my miles on the treadmill: all 7 at a 10:31 pace, which has felt like a good recovery pace to me lately. I finished a little before seven, and because it was misting a little bit when I left my apartment, I thought it would be pretty gray and blah like it has been for the last few days, which means no pretty sunrise for me to photograph and post on my blog. But, lo and behold, this was waiting for me when I left:
