This past week has felt like a whirlwind, although I’ve been able to catch up on a lot of blog reading since getting back from BlogFest. 7 Reasons You Should Hire a Running Coach via Rachel at Running on Happy – As a certified running coach, I think I’m required to share this. 😉 Rachel brings up really good points about how you can train just fine without a coach, but your training will be better and you may see greater improvements in a training cycle when working with a coach.
Top 5 Ways to Change Your Habits by Alicia at Never Ever Been Skinny – I really loved these simple, actionable ways that Alicia provides to help break not so helpful habits and form new, healthy ones. Also, Alicia is just a great person and I really enjoyed getting to meet her at BlogFest. 🙂
Coping With Emotional Eating by Jen at Pretty Little Grub – I think a lot of us struggle with emotional eating. I love Jen’s honesty in this post and her perspective, reminding us that emotional eating almost never makes us feel better. If we remember that we won’t feel any better after eating that bag of cookies, maybe we can help curb our emotional eating a bit.
Essential Oils for a Healthy Summer via Jill Conyers – Interesting information on different ways to use essential oils. Love the tip about using peppermint oil for motion sickness—I’ll have to try that one!

Predicting the Future: Blogging in 2016 (and Beyond) by Katy Widrick – (Can you tell I’m totally in love with Katy’s content? Really great tips and advice.) I can’t emphasize enough how much I would suggest reading this post if you are a blogger. Katy really has her finger on the pulse of so many blogging things, and I think what she’s predicting is in line with what a lot of other industry folks are saying.
