I know it’s been a long time since I’ve added a new blog post, mostly because I’ve been very busy caring for and cuddling with this cutie:
Baby B was born on November 8th and my hubby Scott and I have been completely in awe and in love. The nurses all commented on how cute she was and how long her eyelashes are. I’ve been staying very busy taking care of her, especially now that Scott’s back at work. I’m exhausted from having to wake up every 2-3 hours to feed her, but she’s worth it.

Physically, I’ve been recovering pretty well. Baby B was breech and I agreed with my doctor that the safest way to deliver her was via C section. I’ll be honest—I was pretty terrified going into the surgery, but my doctor was amazing and my recovery has been very good. I’m still a little sore since I’m still healing, but overall I’ve felt a lot better than I thought I might.
I know some new moms jump right back in to working out, but I’m definitely taking things slow, especially because I had the C section. We’ve gone on some short walks, and we’ve been out shopping a few times, but that’s the only physical activity I’ve done besides some very light housework and taking care of the baby. I know I need to take it easy to give my body time to heal, so I’m following my doctor’s orders. I’m hoping I’ll be able to do a bit more in a few weeks.
So, that means that it will be a few more weeks before I can start creating yoga videos and some other content again. But, I’m hoping to be able to write some more general posts in the meantime. I’m excited to be getting back into the swing of blogging and helping you create a healthier, more satisfying life!
