I picked this up last September when my anxiety was really running full force, hoping that it would remind me to take some deep breaths and find a little inner peace when my anxiety was feeling out of control. I’m still wearing it as a reminder to stay mindful and let go of the things I can’t control. Plus I think it’s really pretty.
2. Raspberry Chocolate Truffle Coffee
I was killing time in Bed, Bath, and Beyond and saw these K cups. The flavor sounded tasty so I bought the box and absolutely do not regret the decision. It’s absolutely delicious! I’m a big fan of raspberry so it’s nice to start out my day with some yummy raspberry flavor.
3. New ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 9s
After I recently discovered that I need to move into a light stability shoe, I’ve been in the market for new shoes. I picked up a pair of the Noosa Tri 9s, which are being replaced really soon by the version 10 of the same shoe. I’m loving the fun colors! (I know, I know, don’t pick a shoe by how it looks. Luckily I have tons of shoes since I work at a running store.)
4. “Light on Yoga” by B.K.S. Iyengar
I just got this in from Amazon and I’m really excited to read it. This is one of the go-to books on yoga, especially yoga asanas, and I think I’m going to learn a lot from reading it. I’m hoping to share what I learn on the blog in future posts!
5. Vega protein powder
I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately and I’ve been using a lot of Vega’s protein smoothie powder to add protein to my smoothies. I love that it’s plant-based, low in calories, doesn’t contain any fat, and it’s sweetened with stevia instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners. Win-win!
